Wild Fires
As warm weather returns this weekend, the risk of brush fires increases.
Rain that has fallen over the course of the week, has been replaced with the warm 80+ degree weather for the weekend, creating a elevated risk of brush fires. Residents are urged to be alert to fires or any type of burning outdoors, not only this weekend but well into the Fall season. Just last week careless burning caused a 40 acre wildfire in Exeter Township, which burned for two days before being extinguished. A 400 acre wildfire was also occurred in the Bear Creek area last Saturday, which burned well into the beginning of the week.

Remember, if you see a brush fire DIAL 911.
